Privacy notice
Last updated 23 August 2026
Grovetrace sells software for EU regulatory compliance, so it would be a poor look to be vague here. This page says exactly what happens to your data. It is short because very little happens to it.
What this site collects
Browsing grovetrace.com collects nothing. There is no analytics, no advertising pixel, no cookie banner, because there are no cookies to consent to. Fonts are served from this domain rather than a third-party CDN, so no request for them leaves for another company.
The one exception is the booking page. It embeds Cal.com's scheduler, so opening that page loads a script from Cal.com and Cal.com receives your IP address and sets its own cookies, as it would if you visited their site directly. No other page on this site does that.
If you go on to book, Cal.com collects what you enter: your name, email, and your answers to the booking questions: company, role, commodities, and the open question in your supply chain.
Why
To reply to you and to hold a useful first call. That is the only purpose. The lawful basis is your consent, given by submitting the form, and steps taken at your request before entering a contract.
You will not be added to a mailing list, and your details are never sold, rented or shared for anyone else's marketing.
Who else processes it
- Cal.com handles scheduling. Its script runs on the booking page, and it stores the booking and your answers so the appointment exists. See their own privacy notice for what they do with it.
- Google Workspace hosts the mailbox the enquiry lands in, and the calendar invitation.
How long it is kept
Bookings and enquiries are kept for 24 months and then deleted. If a conversation becomes a customer relationship, the records that belong to that contract are kept for as long as the contract and applicable accounting law require.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask for a copy of what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected or erased, object to its processing, or withdraw consent. Email hello@grovetrace.com and it will be actioned, with deletion within 30 days and usually the same week. You may also complain to your national data protection authority.
